INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR A MAJOR SUCCESS!

2014’s International Furniture Fair, featuring a total of 33 countries containing 418 exhibitors, ended with a new attendance record, the highest in a decade! Over 97 international buying delegations and 22,496 trade visitors from all around the world (115 countries in total) turned up to make the event into a major success.

What are the trends in the top hits of furnitures in this Furniture Fair? It seems to be “Modern shapes, but a rustic look”, mixing the old with the new in a fusion that brings out the best of both worlds. Perhaps people are attracted by the modern designs that bring out maximum comfort but still bring out the nostalgia for older, simpler times.

Some outstanding furniture include a living room (sofas + chairs) designed by Novaz. Available in multiple fabric or leather options supported by a stainless steel frame, the furniture retails at an amazing $4000.

Another notable furniture is ShangyuRoya’s dining set. Featuring a Metal-base table made from recycled pine, it is part of the title “industrial collection”, retailing at around $1,100.

Last but not least, there is also a Luzerne dining table by NS Furniture, which also features a metal base but is made with oak solids in a weathered finish instead.
